The Benefits of Practising Yoga with Infrared

The heating system in the Pure Yoga studio is powered by Infrared heaters, heating the room up to 42 degrees celsius. The heat provides a method of detoxing and also encourages your body to become more limber and flexible. Infrared heat, works differently from conventional heat also in that it does not “transfer” heat from a heating source, but rather it distributes it more evenly because it “radiates” the heat outward. Infrared heat removes toxins that are stored in the body, improves flexibility & joint mobility, promotes healing, reduces muscle stiffness and pain, decreases soreness & inflammation, increases circulation, improves skin tone (it will even heal sunburn), promotes weight loss, enhances heart function, lowers blood pressure and reduces stress.

 

Infrared Heat Therapy effectively helps to increase blood circulation without putting strain on your heart. It increases the levels of oxygen and white blood cells in your blood. It also stimulates the production of collagen (a building block for human tissue) in your body and helps to rid your body of toxins by causing you to perspire.
